Honda recently unveiled the Freed, a compact MPV designed to replace the Mobilio model.As a compact multi-purpose vehicle built on the new Fit platform, it offers affordable and practical features, and is highly likely to be introduced to the domestic market in the future.The car boasts a angular rear design reminiscent of the Odyssey, while its front fascia integrates distinctive features from both the Fit and Odyssey models.The Freed is powered by a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine delivering 118 horsepower, paired with a CVT transmission.Though smaller than the Civic, this vehicle seats up to eight passengers and offers ample cargo space when the third-row seats are folded down.The Toyota Sienta and Nissan Cube now face stiff competition from the Freed, as Honda aims to carve out a niche in the compact utility vehicle market with this model.
